Archive for January, 2012

We hope everyone had a good holiday season.  We were able to spend our holidays with most of our family and all went well.  We read recently that 1/3 of marriage proposals happen during the holidays…which could be why you may be reading this now.  In fact I proposed to Debbie on Christmas Eve and we were soon married in March of the following year.  I guess the holidays bring out the romantic side in us men.  If you’re looking for a wedding video, or just considering one, let us know…we’d be happy to send out a demo or meet with you to discuss any questions you may have concerning  a video for your wedding day.  Debbie and I wish all of you a great 2012, and the happiest of wedding days.

Welcome to our first blog.  We would like to introduce ourselves.  We are Kelly and Debra Langdon.  We started Langdon Video Services back in 2001.  We have lived in Las Vegas since 1978.  We were married back in 1981.  The wedding picture of that cute young couple is on our website.  I (Kelly) started my “creative” career in photography.  At one time we had a home studio and did portraitures.  Over the years I have taken many photography and video classes at both the local college and university.  When we started out video business we decided to just concentrate on doing weddings.  We wanted our focus to be on the couple and their wedding video.  We are simple people and so we decided to keep our package and pricing simple.  No confusing packages and no add ons to complicate things.  We just want to offer a wedding video that we know that Bride and Grooms will want, enjoy, and watch in years to come.  My wife Debbie runs the bookkeeping side of the business and is our second camera person at the ceremonies.  Her background is accounting, and also worked at a local wedding chapel.  She loved working with the brides, and worked hard to make their day a special one.

We hope to add our experiences, knowledge, stories, and tips to this blog.  If you found this blog on our website, we hope you will give us a call or drop us an email and we will answer any questions you may have.

We hope to hear from you and we would love to videotape your wedding and share in your day.
